A national treasure
South Africa’s most cherished hotel stands majestically on Umhlanga’s beachfront, overlooking the Indian Ocean & the iconic lighthouse.
Located in a quiet corner of the reserve, Koro Lodge stands on a hillside to offer magnificent views of the Cederberg wilderness. A restored farmhouse, this unique private villa delivers a seamless blend of contemporary comfort and heritage charm throughout the airy bedrooms and spacious living areas.
The wide wrap-around terrace is ideal for al fresco dinners and relaxing afternoons spent reconnecting with friends and family, while the private heated rim-flow pool overlooks a secure garden landscaped with indigenous flora.
Stays at Koro Lodge are fully inclusive, with a dedicated chef, lodge host and wilderness guide on hand to help you create a bespoke escape. The Lodge can host up to six adults maximum and four children (at an additional charge).
Check-in is at 3.30pm and checkout is at 10.30am.
The focal point of this spectacular suite is the striking Joan Roslyn Hathaway Art Deco Lucite Screen, featuring a dancing female figure on the central panel, which serves as a backdrop to the walnut veneer-framed king-sized bed. The suite, with stunning views of Kensington Gardens, also features beautiful original artwork by Erté (Romain de Tirtoff).
