Enjoy our exciting new set lunch menu using the very best seasonal ingredients. Dishes include Smoked Salmon served with Sauce Gribiche, Miso Glazed Cod served with Squid Ink Linguini and Ginger, Chilli and Basil Sauce Americain and Stem Ginger Sticky Toffee Pudding served with Custard and Stem Ginger Ice Cream.

Each of our teas includes a selection of finger sandwiches, hand-crafted French pastries, tartlets and cakes, and warm, freshly-baked plain and raisin scones. Sustainably sourced meats and perfectly roasted, seasonal veg make Cheneston's the perfect setting for your Sunday Lunch. Join us each Sunday as we honour this traditional and comforting pastime with an added flourish of elegance.

The Art of Sabrage

Sabrage is the technique of opening a bottle of champagne with a sabre - a method which became popular in France when the armies of Napoleon celebrated their victories. The blade travels up the neck of the bottle to break it away near the cork, leaving the main body of the bottle open and ready to pour.
