Limited Edition: Celestial Afternoon Tea

Inspired by the night sky, constellations and the elemental signs of the zodiac, Celestial Afternoon Tea reimagines the traditional ritual through a more imaginative lens. Delicate sandwiches and freshly baked scones are joined by celestial-inspired pastries and a unique selection of teas representing Fire, Earth, Air and Water.

The experience was inspired by the newly redesigned Family Suite, where a hand-painted ceiling mural transforms the dedicated children’s bedroom into a star-filled night sky. That same sense of wonder has been carried through into Celestial Afternoon Tea, creating a playful thread of stargazing, storytelling and discovery across the hotel.

Available from 11th September to 29th November and bookable now, Celestial Afternoon Tea is served during our regular Afternoon Tea sittings, with an additional 7pm Twilight Sitting offering a distinctive way to enjoy the experience as evening falls over Kensington. During the Twilight Sitting, choose the tarot card that calls to you and discover a surprise treat waiting to bring the experience to a memorable close. Younger guests can enjoy our Little Stars Afternoon Tea alongside the experience.

After exploring the city, settle in for the special 7pm Twilight Sitting on Friday evenings and continue the experience into the evening as the light begins to fade.
