From here you can board a boat and cruise down the river past the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the financial centre of Canary Wharf and on to the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich. From Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery are an easy walk away. Head in the opposite direction and you are soon at Tate Britain.
