Victoria, London
Located beneath London's largest Living Wall, recently replanted with more than 6,000 herbaceous plants to breathe life into our surroundings, bbar is a vibrant cocktail bar and restaurant in the heart of Victoria.
Our new menu plays homage to our heritage, with dishes that beautifully reflect the flavours of South Africa with a playful twist, from Boerewors Eggs Benedict with chilli chutney biltong to The Gatsby Sub, a Western Cape pulled BBQ short rib of beef.
Alongside this exceptional new menu, we have live mix sessions and DJ sets throughout the week, as well as contemporary signature cocktails created by our resident mixologists.
The Milestone's location is paradise for shoppers - with Knightsbridge, Harrods and Harvey Nichols only a short walk away. The hotel is on Kensington High Street, one of London’s most popular shopping destinations, while a short distance to the south you’ll find the long rows of glittering shops along Brompton Road, Sloane Street and the King's Road. Nearby Kensington Church Street offers the widest selection of art and antiques in London.
By tube (Kensington High Street station is 200 yards from the hotel) or a taxi, you are only minutes from vibrant theatreland - Piccadilly Circus, Shaftesbury Avenue, Leicester Square and the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. Dive into the warren of narrow streets that criss-cross Soho and you’ll find endless old pubs, lively bars and countless restaurants.
A few minutes in a taxi and you’re in the heart of Whitehall, with Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the Cabinet War Rooms Museum and the London Eye. From here you can board a boat and cruise down the river past the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the financial centre of Canary Wharf and on to the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich. From Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery are an easy walk away. Head in the opposite direction and you are soon at Tate Britain.
